Located a few blocks outside 1604 on Bandera Rd, this restaurant has a convenient location. It has a LARGE variety of Mexican food, but offers hamburgers for those not in the mood for TexMex (is there truly a mood?!…LOL).

I want to try every one of these lunch specials! So far I have had the Carne Guisada Plate on Tuesday and the Mexican Plate on Thursday. Time to try Breakfast! What do you recommend?
What We Tried
We liked our Carne Guisada and homemade tortillas but I am excited to try something else from Jalapenos enormous menu. In comparison I LOVE Bill Millers’ Carne Guisada…that sounds so wrong, especially from a BBQ place I will not eat their BBQ. There are so many options! What have you tried and recommend?
