GET CORNY WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!
Be ready to visit the Helotes Fairgrounds for loads of fun at the annual Helotes Cornyval! Ride some rides and play some games before you go to the PRCA Rodeo. The rides vary for the young to the young at heart. The rodeo is one of a kind, up-close and personal experience.
Stroll around to check out all the crafts ranging from metal work and art work to straw hats. Then grab some food to help sponsor some local organizations like the O-Connor band other athletes.
In the HEB kids zone they will have plenty of fun and entertainment that has included: Gellyball (low impact paintball like game), the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, Mr. Marks Magic, Kim’s Karicatures and more. You will need to check out this years fun!
Do not forget the 8 event PRCA rodeo Thursday, Friday and Saturday starts at 7:30, but get there at 7:00 to see my favorite…the Mutton Bustin’.
Thursday night the Helotes Rodeo and Wrangler have teamed up to SUPPORT THE BLUE and all First Responders. Friday is Bud Night and Saturday supports the Military.
Do not have the kids with you, no problem! There is nothing like having some cold beer with your chosen vendors food while listening to live bands.
The lineup of music changes each year, but the Spasmatics have been a constant for kicking off the fun on Thursday night.
